The landscape lighting market in Jupiter and Palm Beach County.
Your first Market Analysis read Jupiter as a general outdoor-living market: outdoor kitchens, pavers, cabinets. This one is built for lighting. How many homeowners here search for it, which lighting companies are paying to reach them on Facebook and Instagram, how long those ads have been running, and what it costs to put a qualified estimate on your calendar. Every number traces to a source.
This score comes from our Market Pulse engine (audit #426, run October 16, 2026). It is the same score as your first report, and it puts Jupiter in the engine’s Strong tier. What changed is everything underneath it. About 1,850 lighting searches a month come out of Jupiter and the surrounding Palm Beach and Martin County towns, and the busiest stretch of the year runs October through January. When we pulled every lighting company running ads into this area, eight real local companies came back, and five of them are holiday-light crews that switched on in the last four weeks. None of the eight is based in north county. Sitellight is not running any ads right now.
How many people here are looking for outdoor lighting.
First question: is anyone in this market actively looking for what you sell? Here is the measured answer, from Google’s own keyword data for Jupiter and nine nearby towns.
(12-month average, 23 terms)
(last year)
(the quiet months)
Here are the searches doing the work, and what each one tells you about the person typing it:
The pattern worth seeing: 1,850 searches a month is small next to the nearly 125,000 owner-occupied homes in these towns. That is normal for lighting. Almost nobody wakes up and searches for uplighting. They see a neighbor’s palms lit at night, or a photo of a house that looks twice as expensive after dark, and then they want it. Search only catches the few who already decided. Facebook and Instagram reach the rest, the homeowner who has never thought about it until the picture is in front of them.
The honest read: this is a seasonal trade, and the season is starting now. It is not only Christmas lights. Searches for landscape and outdoor lighting on their own run about 2,200 a month from October through January, against about 1,250 in June and July, as the evenings get dark earlier. Holiday installs then stack about 1,000 more searches on top in November. Last October came in at 83% of the peak. Whoever is in front of these homeowners over the next three months gets the best stretch of the year.
Which lighting companies are advertising here right now.
Every real, local lighting company running Facebook and Instagram ads within 50 miles of Jupiter, and how long each has kept them live. The ones running longest are the ones getting paid back.
We pulled every page running lighting ads into this area from Meta’s public Ad Library, then checked each one by hand. We cut fixture stores, solar-light web shops, landscapers and pool builders who only mention lighting, and a Christmas-light company that turned out to be in Arizona. Eight real local lighting companies are left. Sitellight is not one of them.
Two very different groups. The three dark bars sell landscape lighting year-round, and they are the long runners: six months, three and a half months, three months. Nobody pays Meta every day for that long unless the ads pay them back. The other five are holiday crews that all switched on between September 18 and yesterday, and they will switch off in January. So the year-round landscape lighting field in this market is three companies. One is in Lake Worth, one is an electrician in Port St. Lucie, and one is a Broward company.
Pins use each advertiser’s published Facebook address where one exists. Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, Deck’d and SoFlo are pinned at the town their own ads or site name, so those pins are approximate. LucioLine and Yellow Brick Way publish no address and serve all of South Florida, so they are not pinned. The read: the map is empty north of West Palm Beach until you reach Port St. Lucie. Nobody advertising lighting is based in Jupiter, Tequesta, Palm Beach Gardens or Jupiter Island.
Three national lighting brands are also running ads on Meta right now. They are not local installers, so they are not in the count above, but they matter to you:
Haven has kept the same homeowner ads running for well over a year. JellyFish has a quote ad live for over two years. Brands do not keep paying for ads that do not sell. They are spending to make homeowners want smart, color-changing, app-controlled lighting. The question that follows in a Palm Beach homeowner’s head is who installs this here. Right now the one certified Haven installer we know of in north county, you, is not in the feed to answer it.
What the long-running lighting ads look like.
These are the ads lighting companies have kept paying for in this market, and what each one tells you.
The ads that last in this market keep it simple: the house after dark, a local name, a free estimate. The market has already shown that this message keeps paying in Palm Beach County.
The gap is everything around it. Of the three year-round advertisers, one runs a single blank ad, one sends people to a DM, and only one has a page built to book estimates, and that one is an electrician from Port St. Lucie. Nobody is running design-led landscape lighting plus smart Haven systems plus outdoor audio, from a company based in north county, with twelve years of work to show. That is Sitellight’s exact position, and it is the one nobody is advertising.
What a booked estimate costs in Jupiter.
Across Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Tequesta, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, Jupiter Island, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Boca Raton and Stuart there are nearly 125,000 owner-occupied homes. They are not all the same buyer. Palm Beach Gardens ($106,544 / $482,900) and Wellington ($105,848 / $492,300) look like Jupiter. West Palm Beach ($64,044 / $324,800) and Stuart ($61,878 / $276,500) read far lower. The volume is spread across the county. The premium projects live on the water, in Jupiter Island and Palm Beach. A campaign that knows the difference spends on owners who can say yes.
Pins sit at each town’s center. Sitellight sits right between the two premium towns, closer to Jupiter Island than any advertiser on the map above.
Twelve years of work, and none of it in the feed.
Here is the fact this whole report turns on: Sitellight has been lighting Palm Beach homes since 2014. You are a certified Haven installer. You do smart, app-controlled systems and outdoor audio, which almost nobody else here offers. And when a homeowner in Jupiter scrolls Facebook or Instagram tonight, they will not see any of it, because Sitellight is not running any ads right now.
Compare that to who is there: a Broward company with 39 followers selling your exact menu into your county, an electrician 30 miles north building a lighting funnel, a Lake Worth installer holding a seat with one blank ad, and five holiday crews that showed up this month. The seat for a north-county lighting company with real work to show is empty. You are the closest one to it.
The plan for Jupiter, step by step.
Five moves, in order. This is what entering this market on purpose looks like.
Get in before the season peaks
October through January is the lighting season here, and the holiday crews just switched on. You sell both holiday and landscape lighting, so a campaign that starts now can catch the homeowner booking Christmas lights and put a year-round landscape system in front of them while they are thinking about how the house looks at night.
Lead with the after-dark photo
Lighting sells on sight. Most of your buyers will never search for it; they need to see it first. Your own finished work, the house at dusk, the lit palms and the pool, is the ad. That is exactly the homeowner Facebook and Instagram reach and a search ad never will.
Own north county first
Nobody advertising lighting is based in Jupiter, Tequesta, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens or Jupiter Island. Start where you are the local name. Then split the spend: premium creative for the waterfront homes in Jupiter Island and Palm Beach, volume creative for Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens and Wellington.
Tell the story nobody else can
Certified Haven installer. Smart, app-controlled systems. Outdoor audio. Commercial-grade fixtures. Twelve years. The coastal and hurricane-season know-how you already write about on your site. No one in this field is saying any of it. That message pulls the homeowner planning a real system and filters out the one shopping for solar stakes.
Send people to a page that books, not a DM
A page with a short form (owner or renter, what they want lit, timeline) qualifies people before they reach your calendar. Then test like a system: new photos and angles against the winners every week, cut what does not book, and only raise spend once real estimates are coming in.
The short version.
Let’s walk through it together.
This report is the market. The other half is your numbers: your average job, your close rate, how many installs you can take on this season, and what this band means for them. That takes one conversation.
